Creativity in Government

In collaboration with Margie Caust from RETHINKERY, Kate Spencer is exploring how to support creativity to thrive in government and public sector organisations.

For many, the concept of creativity in government is an oxymoron. The bureaucratic system is seen as the antithesis of creativity and innovative thinking, suffocating ideas and creative energy in its wake.

Yet behind the veil of government, there are countless examples of creativity at work. Individuals and teams finding ways to navigate the system and turn novel ideas into new initiatives that deliver long-lasting change and impact.

We are exploring the qualities, skills and behaviours that help individuals, and their creativity, to thrive in-spite of the system.
